Terms of Service

Last updated July 17, 2026

By using TeachersPlan you agree to these terms. They're written to be plain — questions go to [email protected].

What TeachersPlan does

TeachersPlan creates draft classroom materials from a catalog standards record or a custom topic. Generated content is a teaching aid, not an authoritative curriculum, assessment, legal form, or substitute for professional review. You are responsible for checking facts, alignment, answers, suitability, and permissions before classroom use.

Accuracy & standards

For catalog-based creation, the submitted standards code and description must match a record stored by the service. Standards records are obtained through third-party data sources and may be incomplete, superseded, or missing version metadata. Catalog verification does not guarantee that a record is current or that generated activities fully measure it. Custom topics are not represented as catalog standards.

Your account

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. Do not misuse the service, interfere with security, access another user's data, send abusive or unlawful content, infringe another person's rights, or use TeachersPlan contrary to your school or district policy.

Student and sensitive information

Do not enter student names, student grades, disability or medical information, discipline records, account credentials, or other sensitive personal information into prompts, uploads, saved documents, class displays, or Community features. TeachersPlan does not require this information for its core creation workflow.

Your content

You retain rights you already hold in content you provide. You confirm that you have permission to use any source text you submit. You grant TeachersPlan the limited rights needed to process, transmit to configured service providers, store, render, export, and—only when you choose a sharing feature—share that content. Posts, messages, displays, and other content you deliberately share are visible to their intended audience.

AI and source materials

Generation and transformation requests are sent to a configured AI provider. Requests may include the standards or topic context, your instructions, and source text. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Review answer keys and all student-facing content. Do not assume an output is endorsed by a state, district, standards publisher, or source author.

Plans & billing

The current preview is offered without a subscription charge. Paid pricing, limits, renewal terms, export limits, cancellation terms, and refund terms are not final. They must be displayed and accepted before any paid plan is activated.

School and district use

Access to the public preview is not a representation that TeachersPlan is approved by your school or district or that a Data Processing Agreement has been executed. Institutional terms, security documentation, and any required agreement must be confirmed separately.

Availability

We work to keep the service reliable but provide it "as is," without warranty. We aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
