How it works

Your week, planned in three steps

Start with what students should learn, confirm the context, and review a coordinated set.

1

Choose the learning focus

Select your class and a record from the standards catalog, or create materials from a clearly labeled custom topic.

2

Choose the materials

Build one item or a coordinated set. Confirm the grade, subject, timing, and essential options before generation.

3

Review before you use it

Inspect student and teacher copies, check every answer, make edits, and then print, export, or save the result.

More structure than a blank prompt

The selected code and description stay attached to the work.

TeachersPlan retrieves a stored standards record and verifies that record on the server before generation. You still decide whether the resulting lesson truly addresses it.

An unsupported code

A plausible-looking label with no match in the stored catalog.

Disconnected materials

Separate prompts that drift away from the same objective.

Unreviewed output

A polished document presented as correct without teacher judgment.

A verified catalog record

The submitted code and description must match the server's stored record.

Shared lesson context

Grade, subject, objective, and selected standard travel with each requested item.

A reviewable resource set

Open student and teacher materials separately, edit them, and print only what you need.

A connected teacher workflow

Create, inspect, adjust, and reuse.

The app uses the selected catalog record or your clearly labeled custom topic as context. AI output remains a draft until you review it.

Reviewable resource set

Preview slides, worksheet, quiz, exit ticket, and teacher materials separately before you use or print them.

Use your own source

Paste instructional text or extract text from a PDF on your device, then send that text for generation. Do not upload student work or personal information.

Alternate drafts

Create a different reading-level draft or a translation, compare the change, and review it before assigning it to students.

Focused AI edits

Request a specific change to an artifact, inspect the revised result, and keep teacher judgment in the loop.

How to run it

An auto station plan: whole group → independent at desks → your small group at the table → early finishers, with timing.

Data minimization

Optional roster names remain on your device. Teacher profile, class labels, saved materials, and content you choose to share may sync to your account.

Questions

Good questions, honest answers

When you select a catalog standard, its code and description must match a server-side stored record before generation. A custom topic is labeled as a custom topic. Catalog verification does not guarantee that every generated activity fully measures the standard, so review the alignment before use.

Do not enter student names, grades, disability or medical information, discipline records, or other student personal information into prompts, saved materials, uploads, class displays, or community messages. Optional roster names stay on your device; teacher profile, class labels, saved work, and content you choose to share may be stored with your account.

Yes. Contact [email protected] for the current technical and data-handling information. Google export requests the drive.file scope. District approval, contract terms, and any Data Processing Agreement must be confirmed during evaluation.

Built for schools

Designed to minimize student data

TeachersPlan is a teacher planning workspace, not a student information system or gradebook. Student personal information is not required for ordinary creation.

Student accounts are not required — do not place student personal information in prompts, uploads, displays, or shared content. Know what syncs — roster names stay on the device; teacher profile, class labels, saved work, and shared content may sync. AI requests are disclosed — prompts and source text needed for generation are sent to a configured AI provider. Self-service controls — download your account export or request deletion from the account drawer.
